- Qualified for the NCAA Championships on the 1-meter and 3-meter
- Placed sixth in the consolation final of the 3-meter dive at the Big Ten Championships with a score of 309.75
- Won both the 1-meter (352.43) and the 3-meter (399.53) against Pitt
- Won the 1-meter against Virginia Tech with a score of 373.35
- Against Kentucky, won the 1-meter (339.30) and the 3-meter (395.90)
- Competed in nine meets during his freshman season
