Prior to Ohio State: Froschauer is a transfer from Dayton and was a three-year starter for the Flyers … was named a freshman All-American in 2012 by CollegeSoccerNews.com … named All-Rookie in the Atlantic 10 and earned Co-Rookie of the Year honors … honored as a Top 100 Freshmen by TopDrawerSoccer.com … Prior to Dayton, he was named one of ESPN Rise’s Top 25 Goalkeepers to Watch and also one of its Top 150 Players to Watch for the Class of 2012 … backstopped Larry A. 2013 (Sophomore season at Dayton): Started all 19 games and played every minute for Dayton as goalkeeper… averaged 0.75 goals against on the season… recorded 66 saves and nine shutouts in 19 games… posted a 0.815 save percentage overall… had a career-best 14 wins in a season… contributed an assist against Loyola Chicago (Sept. 28).
2012 (Freshman season at Dayton): Started all 18 games for Dayton as goalie… named All-Rookie in the Atlantic 10… named Co-Rookie of the Year for Dayton… honored as Top 100 Freshmen by Top Drawer Soccer… averaged 1.29 goals against on the season and 1.19 goals against in conference play… recorded 94 saves and three shutouts in 18 games… posted a .797 save percentage overall and .800 percentage in A-10 games… was twice named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week (Sept. 10 and Nov. 5)… recorded a season-high nine saves in Dayton’s 3-2 win over Ohio State (Aug. 24).
