Prior to Ohio State
- Played four full seasons in the WHL with the Prince Albert Raiders, serving as an alternate captain his last two years
- Skated with Delta Hockey Academy through 2020-21; finished that year with Prince Albert, appearing in 23 regular season games with four assists
- Notched 3-3-6 line in 64 regular season games in 2021-22 and had 17 goals and 14 assists for 31 points in 66 games the next year
- 57 points, with 23 goals and 23 assists, in 68 regular season games in 2023-24 and in 2024-25 recorded 65 points (27g, 38a) in 67 regular season games
- Attended South Delta Secondary and North Delta Secondary high schools, graduating in 2022
- Won John Reid Memorial Tournament in grade nine
