Olivia Alvarado joined Ohio State’s Performance Nutrition team in August of 2026 as an Assistant Performance Dietitian. Olivia manages the nutrition needs of the men’s basketball, spirit and rowing programs.
She completed her Nutrition and Food Science degree with a concentration in Dietetics in 2023 from LSU and continued on to earn her Master of Nutrition and Integrative Physiology from the University of Utah in May 2025. During her time in Utah, she worked with the MLS club Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals.
In 2025-26, Alvarado completed her sports nutrition residency with the Memorial Hermann Rockets Sports Medicine Institute and Rice University’s Football team. She has experience working with athletes ranging from adolescence through the professional level.
