- Skated in 14 playoff games for the Ice Dogs and had four goals and three assists for seven points as the team won the Robertson Cup championship

- Son of Jason and Cindy and has a brother, Riley, and sister-in-law, Jenna, who both attended University of Northwestern — St. Paul
- Enjoys golfing
- Followed his brother into hockey
- Has coached the summer program for Elk River youth and high school hockey
- NHL players Paul Martin and Joel Otto also hail from Elk River
- Favorite player is Erik Karlsson, whose style of hockey he models his game after
