Ohio State Overview
• TreVeyon was a record-setting and outstanding running back for the Buckeyes for four years who capped his career by being named a 2024 team captain and then helped lead the team to the 2025 College Football Playoffs National Championship
• He rushed his way into Ohio State's venerable Top 5 list of career rushers with 3,761 yards, trailing only Archie Griffin (5,589 yards), JK Dobbins (4,459), Ezekiel Elliott (3,961) and Eddie George (3,768)
• He scored 48 career touchdowns - 42 rushing and six receiving - to rank third all-time at Ohio State, trailing only Pete Johnson (58 TDs) and Keith Byars (50)
• Scored two-or-more touchdowns in 16 games and the Buckeyes were 15-1 in those contests
• Ranks third at Ohio State in career all-purpose yards with 4,614
• Was terrific as a receiver, as well, with 77 career receptions for 853 yards
• Played in 47 games as a Buckeye and started 38 times, including all 16 games in 2024 with nine starts
• Had 11 plays from scrimmage over 50 yards during his career (eight rushes; three receptions), including a long rush of 75 yards vs. Minnesota in 2023 and a long reception of 75 vs. Texas in the 2025 Cotton Bowl
• Produced two seasons of 1,000 yards rushing, a third with 926 yards, and three seasons with double digit touchdowns scored and at least 19 receptions
• Graduated in December 2024 with his degree in sport industry
• Selflessly teamed as a senior with first-year transfer Quinshon Judkins to give Ohio State a dynamic, physical backfield combo that combined for 2,076 yards rushing and 24 touchdowns, and 49 receptions for 445 yards and an additional three receiving TDs
• He closed his career with a highly productive senior campaign in 2024, rushing for 1,016 yards, 10 touchdowns and a career-best 7.1 yards per carry (16th nationally), and catching 27 passes for 284 yards and one more score
• His speed, strength and toughness led to some awesome performances, particularly in the College Football Playoffs: 29- and 24-yard TD runs and an 8.0 yards per carry (ypc) average vs. Tennessee in the CFP opening round; two more TDs, including a Rose Bowl-record 66-yard TD run, and an 11.8 ypc average in the CFP quarterfinals vs. Oregon; and a stunning, 75-yard touchdown reception off a screen pass with 13 seconds to play in the first half to give Ohio State a 14-7 lead over Texas in the CFP semifinals at the Cotton Bowl
• Returned with a vengeance in 2023 after an injury-marred 2022 campaign to rush for 926 yards and 11 touchdowns and earn first-team all-Big Ten Conference honors by both the coaches and the voting media
• Had three consecutive 100-yard rushing games in 2023, and four total on the season: 104 vs Notre Dame; 162 vs. Wisconsin; 128 vs. Rutgers; 146 vs. Minnesota
• Scored touchdowns in eight consecutive games for the second time in his career, including a huge, 61-yard second half touchdown run in the 17-14 win over Notre Dame
• Also caught 19 passes in 2023
• Despite injuries, he played in eight games in 2022 and was second on the team in rushing with 571 yards and six rushing TDs and was named honorable mention All-Big Ten Conference
• Had two 100-yard rushing games - 121 vs. Wisconsin and 118 vs. Michigan State
• Was outstanding in the win over Penn State with 87 rushing yards and touchdowns covering 41 and 7 yards
• Came into 2022 a first-team preseason All-American by Walter Camp and poised to be one of the top running backs in the nation coming off a 2021 freshman All-American campaign
• Rushed for the second-most yards by a freshman in Ohio State history in 2021 with 1,248 yards, including a school freshman-record 270 yards vs. Tulsa
• Set an Ohio State freshman record with 19 touchdowns scored (15 rushing and four receiving)
• Scored TDs in his first eight games as a Buckeye
• His 19 TDs scored on the season rank eighth in school history
• Ranked second nationally with 6.8 yards per carry
• Had the third-most rushing yards in one half by a Buckeye with 203 vs. Tulsa on his way to the fifth-most rushing yards in one game: 270, which was second-most among Power 5 running backs in 2021
• His 1,248 rushing yards ranked 23rd nationally and his 96.0 yards per game ranked 26th
• In addition to Tulsa, had at least 100 yards rushing vs. Maryland (102) and Penn State (152)
• Had a 70-yard TD reception (vs. Minnesota)
