Tim Roberts is in his first season as Ohio State’s assistant director of football equipment.
No stronger to Ohio State, Roberts returned to the Buckeyes after serving as a student manager for the 2018, 2019 and 2020 football seasons. Following his graduation in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in sport industry, he spent two seasons as football equipment intern at Alabama. In 2023 and 2024, Roberts worked on the equipment staff at Notre Dame.
Over his eight seasons working on various football equipment staffs, Roberts has been part of four conference championship-winning teams and another – Notre Dame – that played in the College Football Playoff national championship game.
Roberts is a graduate of Lakeview High School in Cortland, Ohio.
