Shaun Barnhouse has been a member of the Ohio State athletic training staff since 2012 and currently serves as the head athletic trainer for the football program. He has worked exclusively with the Buckeyes’ football team throughout his time at Ohio State.

Prior to arriving in Columbus, Barnhouse completed a yearlong NFL internship with the New England Patriots and also gained preseason internship experience with the Buffalo Bills.

He earned his master’s degree in physical education from the University of South Carolina, where he served as a graduate assistant working primarily with the cross country and track and field teams.

A 2009 graduate of Ohio State, Barnhouse completed his undergraduate athletic training curriculum at his alma mater before returning to join the staff.
