Austin Edwards joined the Ohio State football staff in 2020 and currently serves as Assistant Director, Football Operations. He remained with the Buckeye program after working as a football student manager from 2017-20.

In this position, Edwards coordinates football operations duties including team travel logistics, scheduling, staff calendars and program-wide communication. He progressed from football operations intern to assistant director after being promoted in February 2023.

A Columbus-area native, Edwards earned his bachelor’s degree in sports industry from Ohio State in 2019 after initially attending the University of Kentucky, where he studied business management.
