Ohio State Overview
• Matthew was a physical and experienced offensive lineman who started 24 of 26 games in 2022 and 2023
• He has played in 53 games for his career and started29 times
• Graduated in 2021 with his degree in human development and family sciences and is in his sixth year with the program
• Lettered five times, because of the Covid pandemic extra year, and joins Xavier Johnson and Josh Proctor as the only five-time football letterwinners
• Earned second-team all-Big Ten Conference honors by both the coaches and the voting media in both 2022 and 2023
• Played in all eight games of the Covid-shortened 2020 season and started three times: vs. Michigan State, vs. Clemson in the CFP semifinals and vs. Alabama in the CFP championship game
