Ohio State Overview
• Kam played five seasons with the Buckeyes and graduated with two degrees: a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in kinesiology
• He ws a four-time OSU Scholar-Athlete and four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree
• Was voted a team captain twice by his teammates, in the fall of 2021 and also 2022
• Endured five knee surgeries throughout his career and, thus, his on-field career at Ohio State has been marked by a series of stops and starts
• Tore his ACL early in the summer before his first training camp, missing all of the 2018 season
• Missed the entirety of the 2019 season after another injury during spring practice
• He was healthy in 2020 and proved to be a key contributor on special teams, playing in seven of eight games for the Big Ten champions and CFP finalists
• Suffered another knee injury in the spring of 2021 and was lost for the rest of the year
• Returned to the field in 2022 and, in an incredibly emotional and heartwarming scene, caught his only career pass, from C.J. Stroud, against Indiana, an eight-yard touchdown reception in the only game he would play in 2022 and in his last as a collegian
• Selected as Ohio State’s third honoree for the Bill Willis Block O Jersey, which is Jersey No. 0 and is given to the player who exhibits the Willis traits of toughness, accountability and the highest of character

2021: Elected by his peers as a team captain; spoke at President Kristina M. Johnson’s investiture, one of just three Ohio State students presented with the honor; graduated in December with his degree in communications; OSU Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Big Ten
