Ohio State Overview
• Josh, OG Matt Jones and WR Xavier Johnson each lettered five times (because of the extra year they received because of the Covid-19 pandemic), the only five-time letterwinners in school history
• Josh appeared in 53 games over the past six seasons, totalled 112 tackles, 15 pass break-ups and he started 20 times, including 11 times in 2023
• Played in 11 games in 2023 and had his best season with 47 tackles, an interceptions and eight pass break-ups, which ranked second on the team
• Recorded his career high of seven tackles in consecutive games in 2023 vs. Notre Dame and Maryland
• Played in 11 games in 2022, started four times and totalled 21 tackles and two pass break-ups
• Started first two games of 2021 season and made 10 tackles, but was injured midway through Game 2 vs. Oregon and missed the remainder of the season
• Backed-up Jordan Fuller at safety in 2018 and 2019 before earning a starting position in 2020
• Had 20 tackles – 16 solo – in seven games in 2020 with one tackle for loss, two pass breakups and one interception
• Had four tackles, one interception and one pass defended in the 2020 Big Ten Championship Game vs. Northwestern
• Played in 11 games during his sophomore season in 2019, finishing with 13 tackles and one interception.
• Also intercepted a pass in the 2019 game vs. Florida Atlantic
• Has a career-high two pass breakups at Indiana in 2019
• Appeared in nine games as a true freshman for the Big Ten and Rose Bowl champions

2023: Third-team all-Big Ten Conference (media), graduated in August (human development and family science)
