Assistant Director, Player Development & Internal Affairs

Tony Tucker joined the Ohio State football staff in 2017 and currently serves as the Assistant Director, Player Development & Internal Affairs. In this position, he oversees community service and outreach opportunities for the football program while helping support the overall growth and development of Ohio State student-athletes.

Before coming to Columbus, Tucker spent nearly eight years as the athletics director at Pickerington Central High School and also served as an assistant principal in the Pickerington Local School District. He previously spent nearly a decade as an athletics director in Columbus City Schools and also taught social studies and history at W.C. Handy School for the Performing Arts and Sonshine Christian Academy.

Tucker earned his bachelor’s degree in sports industry from Ohio University and is certified as an athletic administrator by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
