Miguel Patrick returned to the Ohio State coaching staff in March 2025 as an analyst and defensive personnel coordinator. He previously spent two seasons as the defensive line coach at UAB and also served on Ryan Day’s staff in 2022 as a quality control coach before leaving for that opportunity.Â
Patrick first came to prominence as a high school coach in Georgia, where he led Ellenwood Cedar Grove to a state championship in his first season as head coach in 2019. He also helped the program win state 3-A titles in 2016 and 2018 as defensive coordinator before becoming head coach at Crisp County in 2021, guiding the Cougars to a 9-4 record, a region championship and a trip to the state quarterfinals.Â
A former linebacker at Alabama State, Patrick earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2006 and later completed a master’s degree in educational leadership from Kennesaw State in 2018. Â
