Kelsey Poplawski joined the Ohio State football staff in May 2024 as an Office Associate and now serves as Administrative Assistant. She brought more than five years of experience in athletics, operations and client management, with a background in administrative support, scheduling, travel coordination and relationship management.
Prior to joining Ohio State Football, Poplawski served as a Fiscal Associate with The Ohio State University Department of Athletics from June 2022 to May 2024, where she provided fiscal, procurement and administrative support across the department. She also worked as an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Rochester from September 2019 to May 2022, handling recruiting visits, travel logistics, meal planning, social media content and compliance-related responsibilities.
Poplawski earned a master’s degree in sport management from SUNY Cortland in 2022 and a bachelor’s degree in communication, with an emphasis in journalism and media and a minor in business administration, from SUNY Geneseo in 2019. She also served as team captain of the SUNY Geneseo women’s basketball team from 2017 to 2019.
