Devin Jordan, a Buckeye letterwinner from 2003-05, returned to Ohio State in 2022 and is a quality control staffer for the offense. His role has primarily been with the wide receivers, which has produced a first-round pick in the NFL Draft after each season he has been in Columbus. Â
Jordan returned to Ohio State after serving two seasons as an offensive quality control coach at the University of Akron. A native of Massillon, Ohio, Jordan played three seasons under head coach Jim Tressel before injuries ended his career. He began his coaching journey as a student assistant at Ohio State before moving on to become the wide receivers coach at Wittenberg and then Otterbein.Â
Jordan’s next stop was Walsh, where he spent six seasons from 2012-17 as wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator. He later served as wide receivers coach and passing game coordinator at Malone for one season before joining the Youngstown State staff as an offensive quality control coach. After two years with the Penguins, Jordan moved to the same role at Akron in 2020.Â
Jordan earned his degree in human ecology/family resource management from Ohio State in 2008. Â
