Cole Spencer is the Executive Director of Player Personnel for Ohio State Football. He joined the Buckeyes in 2025 after serving as Director of Player Personnel (2023-25) and Director of College Scouting (2021-22) for the Carolina Panthers, where he helped lead the team’s scouting and roster evaluation efforts.

Prior to his time in Charlotte, Spencer spent more than 10 years in the NFL with Washington from 2010-21 in scouting and personnel roles where he built extensive experience in talent evaluation, background research and player development strategy.

A graduate of Northern Illinois University in 2009, Spencer earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and history and has also completed the NFL’s University of Michigan–Ross Executive Education Program.
