Billy Homer is the College Scouting Coordinator for Ohio State Football, and he joined the Buckeyes in 2022.

Before coming to Columbus, Homer served as Assistant Director of Player Personnel for the Florida Gators from July 2019 to December 2021. Prior to that, he spent two years with the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club, first as Director of Scouting in 2018 and then as Director of Player Personnel in 2019.

Homer also worked with the Ottawa RedBlacks as a U.S. Western Regional Scout from 2015-18 and earlier spent four seasons (2009-13) with the San Francisco 49ers.

He began his pro football career with the East-West Shrine Game, where he served as Director of Player Personnel/Football Operations from 2001-09. A graduate of Syracuse in 1999, Homer earned a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and political science.
