2013-14 (Freshman Season): Competed in the OSU Duals, Northwestern Duals and Notre Dame Duals…finished 17th at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships…won 19 out of 21 bouts at OSU Duals.
Prior to Ohio State-Competed with Rain City Fencing Center…took eighth place at Y-12 men[apos]s foil Summer Nationals in 2007…earned third place for senior men[apos]s foil team in 2012.
Personal-Son of Julia and Bruce Clarkson…has one sibling Carris, 14…majoring in engineering…plans on having a late night talk show like David Letterman…enjoys fencing, ski racing, tennis, boating and spending time with family…greatest sports thrill was his overtime win against his rival for an eighth-place finish at the Y-12 men[apos]s foil summer nationals.
