Has been part of the Egyptian National Team for five years

Parents are Tamer Tahoun, a two-time Olympian who fenced foil for Egypt professionally from 1999-2008. and Rihab Dawood
Sibling Aly attends Brandeis
Computer science and engineering major and plans to become a data analyst
Enjoys traveling, playing chess and outdoor running
Father got him into fencing at age 7
Was born in Egypt and moved to the United States at age 9
On why he chose Ohio State: "It has one of the strongest fencing programs in the country. There is a different level of passion, spirit and team culture. It gave me the opportunity to train and compete at the highest level."
