Ivan Trevejo joined the Ohio State fencing staff in Fall 2024.
A double Olympic epee medalist, Trevejo was born in Cuba, but lived in France since the age of 20. He earned a silver medal in epee in the 1996 Olympic Games and a bronze medal in the team event in the 2000 Olympic Games. Trevejo was part of the gold medal team at the 1997 World Fencing Championships and part of the bronze medal winning squad at the 1999 world championships. He also claimed a bronze medal with France in the 2013 world championships.Â
Trevejo enjoys swimming and running and like all types of music and dance. He earned his degee in sports and physical culture.
