Ohio State Baseball Driveline Launchpad Motion Capture Camp

Driveline Launchpad Motion Capture Camp
This camp will provide players with a unique opportunity to experience cutting-edge technology and learn more about their movement through Ohio State's Driveline Launchpad system. Using markerless motion capture technology, players will have their pitching or hitting mechanics captured and analyzed. This will allow them to see a 3D representation of their movement patterns. Players will work with Ohio State's player development staff to better understand their movement efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and learn how their mechanics translate to on-field performance. The camp will combine hands-on instruction, technology-driven evaluation, and individualized feedback to help each player better understand their body, their swing or delivery, and their overall development.
Components include:
- 3D markerless motion capture evaluation.
- Pitching or hitting movement assessments and Opportunity to discuss the report with a coaching staff member POST camp via Zoom Meeting.
- Skeleton-view breakdowns of individual movements.
- Identification of movement strengths and areas for improvement.
- Individualized instruction from Ohio State coaching staff.
- Introduction to how professional and collegiate programs use motion capture to develop athletes.
Players won't just be told what they're doing; they'll actually be able to see how they move and better understand why it matters.
For this camp you can register for the hitting session, pitching session, or both.
