Buckeye Rowing High Performance Camp
We are excited to announce an exclusive summer rowing camp for high-performance female rowers and coxswains in grades 9–12 in the fall of 2026. This elite program offers athletes the opportunity to train closely with our experienced coaching staff, access state-of-the-art facilities, and participate in advanced video and data analysis to refine technique and improve performance.
Campers will also benefit from dedicated sessions with our performance dietitian and athletic trainer, focused on optimizing training, recovery, and long-term athletic development. Coxswains will receive targeted coaching feedback and education on the qualities we seek at the collegiate level.

By registering for this camp I affirm that I have the ability to swim 100 yards and thereafter to tread water for 4 minutes.
Camp Information
Dates: June 28th - July 1st (Sunday-Wednesday)
Grades: 9-12 in the fall of 2026
Location: -Griggs Reservoir Boathouse (Duranceaux Park, 3033 Thoburn Rd, Columbus, OH 43221)
and the Schumaker Complex (615 Irving Schottenstein Dr., Columbus, OH 43210)

Instruction:
Sunday: 1pm-4pm @ Schumaker Complex
Monday: 8am-3pm @ Griggs Reservoir Boathouse
Tuesday: 8am-3pm @ Griggs Reservoir Boathouse
Wednesday: 8am-3pm @ Griggs Reservoir Boathouse
Check-in for camp and all instruction on Sunday will be located at the Schumaker Complex. Monday through Wednesday, all other instruction will be located at Griggs Reservoir Boathouse.
Enrollment
The fee for the Buckeye High Performance Camp is $750 per camper. If you sign up by the end of March, you will get $100 off when you register. This fee will include four day instruction by coaches on water and on land, lunch, snacks, and a t-shirt. The camp is open to any and all female athletes grades 9-12 in the fall of 2026. There is a maximum number of campers permitted, so register early! On the registration page, you will need to select whether you are registering as a rower or coxswain. Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. ?There will be no walk-ups permitted for this camp, all participants must register in advance.
Equipment
Please bring a water bottle. No additional equipment is necessary.
Meals and Housing
Lunches, snacks, and water will be provided. This is a day camp only and no overnight accommodations will be provided. Campers are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed.
Required Forms for Participation
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Confirmation
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.
Refunds
A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least one month prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than one month prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and received by phone or email. All refund requests must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. This form is found on the homepage all the way at the bottom in red letters “Request a Refund”. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
