Buckeye Youth Spirit Club Women's Volleyball Performance
Get ready to bring the spirit to the Covelli Center! Young Buckeye fans in grades K-6 are invited to join Ohio State Cheer, Dance, and Brutus Buckeye for an exciting Women's Volleyball Game Day experience.
New for 2026: There is no Buckeye Youth Spirit Club membership fee! That means this event is open to all children within the eligible age range, making it easier than ever to be part of the Buckeye Spirit experience.
Participants will attend a fun and interactive clinic, learn Buckeye cheers and traditions, spend time with members of the Ohio State Spirit Program, and take the floor for a special game-day performance at the Covelli Center. It's the perfect opportunity for aspiring cheerleaders, dancers, and Buckeye fans to experience the excitement of performing in front of a live crowd!
As part of registration, each participant will receive three complimentary match tickets: one for the participant and two for family members. You will also receive a Buckeye Youth Spirit Club T-shirt to wear for this and any future performance you sign up for.
You will have the option to purchase a pair of new poms or if you are a former BYSC member; you can bring your poms from previous years.

- Check in at Jennings Wrestling Facility: 6:45 PM - 7:10 PM
- Clinic Instruction: 7:15 PM - 7:55 PM
- In Match Performance ~ 8:00 PM (2nd intermission)
- Post - Performance: Guardians to pick up participants at the check in point at Jennings Wrestling Facility
The fee for the Buckeye Youth Spirit Club – Women's Volleyball Performance is $70 per camper. This fee will include instruction, a club T-shirt, and 3 tickets to the Women’s Volleyball Match on October 1st. The camp is open to all children in K-6th grade. There are a maximum number of campers permitted, so register early! Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. There will be no walk-ups permitted for this camp, all participants must register in advance.
This is a day camp only and no meals or overnight accommodations will be provided. Campers are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed. Hotel information can be provided upon request.
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

Parking throughout the duration of the match is free in the Schumaker Lot and Buckeye Lots across from the Covelli Center. We recommend parking in the Schumaker Lot which is the green lot right above the Schumaker Complex in the attached parking map. You will then cross the street, Irving Schottenstein Center Dr. and enter the Jennings Wrestling Facility entrance which is the Southeast (Bottom Right) entrance on the attached map. You will need to enter this entrance and not the main Covelli Center entrance.
Participants will receive their club t-shirts upon arrival at the event. Participants should wear their provided T-shirts and any black bottoms (leggings, shorts, etc.) with tennis shoes for the performance. Participants who are previous members of Buckeye Youth Spirit Club are welcome to bring their pom poms given to them in previous years. If you are a new participant or would like to purchase new pairs of poms, those will be available for purchase on site.
Spectators are not able to visit Jennings during the clinic.
A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we must guarantee the number of campers to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and received by phone or email. All refund requests must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. This form is found on the homepage all the way at the bottom in red letters “Request a Refund”. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
