2023 ELITE CHEER CAMP
The Ohio State University Cheerleading Team is proud to host an elite cheer camp for high school and all-star cheerleaders.
This camp is designed to give each attendee the experience of being on the OSU Cheer Team by working coed partner stunts, tumbling, collegiate 2.5 high pyramids, surface friendly pyramids, collegiate basket tosses, college gameday material.
This two-day camp will allow male and female participants to get an inside look at what our program has to offer by touring parts of the academic campus, various athletic facilities, training with OSU Strength and Conditioning Coaches, and getting to learn from and interact with the OSU Cheer Team coaching staff and select team members.

Camp Information
Dates: Friday, July 7 and Saturday, July 8
Grades: Entering grade 10 in fall of 2023 and older
Location: Covelli Center
Camp Staff: Participants will be under the instruction of the Ohio State Cheer team coaching staff, members of the strength and conditioning staff, and current Ohio State student-athletes.

Enrollment
The fee for the Elite Cheer Camp is $400 per camper. This fee will include an Ohio State Cheerleading tee shirt, daily parking passes for commuters, and meals listed below. The camp is open to males and females entering 10th grade in the fall of 2023 and older that meet the prerequisites listed below.
Prerequisites include the following:
Standing backhandspring
Standing back tuck
Roundoff backhandspring back tuck
Coed partner stunting experience with consistent execution of toss extensions, toss libs.
*This clinic will not have any all-female or group stunting. This clinic is not designed for backspots or bases. All participants attending must have coed stunting experience. If females only have flying experience on all-female/ group stunts please contact Coach Schreiber Schreiber.72@osu.edu
*If any of the skills listed above are challenging, it is advised to attend a coed stunt and college prep clinic or a stunt school session to maximize your training experience. Females will be divided into mid-layers and tops for pyramids. The coaching staff reserves the right to modify collegiate pyramids (2.5 high) to high school level pyramids (2 high) if participants are not able to perform the necessary drills and skills to perform safely.
There is a maximum number of 35 females and 10 males permitted, so register early! Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. There will be no walk-ups permitted for this camp, all participants must register in advance.
Equipment
All campers are responsible for bringing their own equipment. No equipment will be provided to ANY camper. It is recommended to bring multiple shirts with you each day as summer days in Columbus can get hot.
Meals and Housing
Lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner will be provided on Day 1. Lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided on Day 2. Participants can bring any additional snacks with them. No overnight accommodations will be provided. Campers are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed. Hotel information can be provided upon request.
Required Forms for Participation
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Confirmation
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

Refunds
A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and received by phone or email. All refund request’s supporting documentation must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. This form is found on the homepage all the way at the bottom in red letters “Request a Refund”. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.

Camp will be headquartered at the Covelli Center on the campus of The Ohio State University at 2640 Fred Taylor Dr, Columbus, OH 43210. The exact check-in location will be through the main doors on the southwest side of the building
