Ohio State Baseball Buckeye Summer Prospect Camp
CAMP DESCRIPTION
Buckeye Summer Prospect Camp Sessions 1 and 2 are designed to give participating players the opportunity to showcase their skills and playing abilities at Bill Davis Stadium / Nick Swisher Field amongst the Ohio State Baseball Coaching staff while also giving them the chance to learn from top college coaches and players at the same time. Sessions 1 and 2 will be identical in agenda and format, but will take place at two different time slots on July 6th to accommodate for participants schedule that day in Columbus. These camps are open to all players 8th grade to 12th grade and currently enrolled junior college/2-year college students. Participants will also have the chance to tour athletics facilities and be exposed to many elements of the Buckeye Baseball program.
Ohio State’s Damon Lessler will lead this summer’s Buckeye Prospect Camp Sessions as both the administrator and lead instructor. Lessler has more than a decade of experience working in Division I baseball as a coach, and currently serves as the Buckeyes’ Director of Baseball Operations/Recruiting & Player Development. Lessler, who has had previous coaching stops at Cal, Cal Poly, Southern Miss and other universities, uses his past experiences to serve and assist head coach Bill Mosiello with all aspects of day-to-day operations of the Ohio State program along with leading Buckeye Baseball Camps.

Check-in: 12:30-1:00 PM
Instruction: 1:00-4:00 PM
The fee for the Buckeye Summer Prospect Camp is $135 per participant per session. This camp is open to any and all entrants in grades 8-12 in the fall of 2023 and currently enrolled junior college/2-year college students.
Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% credit card processing fee will be charged to all registrations.
All campers are responsible for bringing their own baseball equipment (gloves, bats, cleats, helmets; etc), however The Ohio State Baseball program will provide baseballs, and other necessary equipment needed to run camp.
There will be no housing or meals provided by OSU at this camp and campers will be responsible for providing any food that they would like to eat while at camp. Water will be provided in the dugouts during camp. Campers visiting from out of town are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations and The Ohio State Baseball program does not accept responsibility for campers outside of camp hours. Hotel information can be provided upon request.
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at
OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
Camp will be headquartered at Bill Davis Stadium located at 560 Borror Dr., Columbus, OH 43210. The exact check-in location will be determined as camp gets closer.
