The Ohio State track and field and cross country program is one of the most historic at the University. Support for this program will be used to enhance the circle of care for our student-athletes, including priorities such as leadership and career development, nutrition, equipment, travel and facility upgrades.

BATTLE EARNS 2020 B1G INDOOR TRACK ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
Anavia Battle was named Track Athlete of the Year. In March, Battle was also named Big Ten’s Track Athlete of the Championships, marking the fourth time in the past six years the same student has swept both honors.

IT'S HAPPENING
This spring, Karrington Winters was named the recipient of the 2019 Big Ten Medal of Honor, the conference’s most exclusive award that recognizes academic and athletic excellence.
Winters has created quite the legacy as a track athlete at Ohio State. She is a three-time USTFCCCA First-Team All-American as well as a two-time USTFCCCA Second Team All-American. She owns 24 event titles, four Ohio State Scholar-Athlete honors and is a three-time Big Ten Distinguished Scholar. In addition to her competitive accolades, Winters also serves as president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC).

FINDING A SILVER LINING
Redshirt senior pole-vaulter, Robby Oswald resides in Cincinnati, Ohio, and though he has lived there since he was seven, he is a New Orleans native. Robby and his family were one of the millions affected by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
