2023 Softball Ticket Claim Information
The Ohio State Department of Athletics will implement a new ticket reservation system for the softball Buckeyes’ six remaining Big Ten weekend games.
While admission to Buckeye Field will continue to be free, fans will be asked to reserve a ticket to ensure entry to the stadium.
- This process will be done online and mobile tickets will be managed through the Ohio State Buckeyes app, which is available for download through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Seating will continue to be general admission.
- Each guest will be able to claim up to eight tickets per game.
- Fans also are encouraged to opt in to softball push notifications on the official Ohio State Buckeyes app.

All seating within Buckeye Field will be General Admission, so claiming a ticket earlier in the process does not guarantee you a better seat within the venue.Â
Yes, fans will be able to transfer their mobile tickets via their Ohio State Buckeyes ticket accounts. More information on managing tickets can be found here Â
Tickets can also be managed via the web browser on your phone by visiting http://am.ticketmaster.com/buckeyes/. If you do not have a smart phone, ticket office staff will be available at Buckeye Field beginning 90 minutes prior to each ticketed game and provide a printed ticket for you.Â
We encourage fans to claim their tickets ahead of time based on expected demand. Should tickets remain available on the day of the game, you may walk up and claim a ticket, but there is no guarantee that there will be tickets available for walk up guests.Â
A limited number of tickets will be held for Ohio State students, who can enter Buckeye Field by showing their Buck ID upon entry. OSU students do not need to claim tickets.Â
If the game is postponed to a date that already has a game scheduled, fans will need to claim tickets for the new game date, based upon availability.
Each fan may claim up to 8 tickets. The claim process online allows fans to create group name that they can easily share with others who would like to claim tickets under the same group.
Children under 2 will be admitted without a ticket but must sit on a parent/guardian’s lap. All other guests must have a ticket for entry.Â

Groups can contact Marketing (lambert.656@osu.edu) to get their group’s name on the video board for the game you are attending. Â
Re-entry is not permitted at Ohio State sporting events.
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FANS
To ensure as many Buckeye fans can attend the games as possible, Ohio State reserves the right to deactivate any barcodes on claimed tickets that have not been scanned 30 minutes after the announced game time and re-assign those tickets to other fans who may be waiting at Buckeye Field for entry.Â
