This session is designed to give dance coaches and team leaders an opportunity to learn together and strategize about leadership topics for their upcoming season! Participants will have the opportunity to learn overarching leadership principles from Rob Miller with Proactive Coaching and follow up with the OSUDT Coaching Staff about real life examples and application. Though not required, this session is designed for Coaches and their Team Leaders to attend together.
This seminar will include 3.5 hours of instruction with Proactive Coaching as well as a session and Q&A with the OSUDT Coaching Staff. Participants will be required to provide their own overnight accommodations.

Camp Staff: Campers will be taught by current Ohio State Coaches and Rob Miller from Proactive Coaching
Rob Miller was a 3-sport athlete in high school and played NAIA college basketball, where he served as team captain his senior year. He has coached both men and women in high school and college basketball as well as in track and field. He is the former director of Champions of Character for NAIA and the former Director of the National Christian College Athletic Association. He was the commissioner of the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference from 2011 to 2022. He has been a been a partner in “Proactive Coaching” since 2008. He speaks about 120-130 days per year which have included high school and colleges throughout the USA and in 4 other nations. He lives in Liberty, Missouri with his wife Susan. They have a daughter, Kendall who resides in Wisconsin.

Enrollment
The fee for the OSUDT Coach & Captain: Leadership Session is $155 per participant. The camp is open to High School Dance Team Coaches and/or Studio Company Directors & Team Leaders for the 2023-2024 school year. There is a maximum number of participants permitted, so register early! Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. If registering by mail, please make checks payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. ?There will be no walk-ups permitted for this camp, all participants must register in advance.
Equipment
All participants are responsible for bringing their own equipment. No equipment will be provided.
Meals and Housing
This is a day camp only and no overnight accommodations will be provided. Participants are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed. Hotel information can be provided upon request.
Confirmation
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to the session, you will be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with participants.
Refunds
A refund less a $30 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of participants in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury or illness, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Participants who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
