Ohio State University has immersive experiences for 2nd year Master of Athletic Training Students available for Late Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring athletic sessions. This experience will expose the student to multiple different athletes from different backgrounds, of different genders, and different athletic abilities.
Students will have the opportunity to experience various situations in the clinic as well as be fully immersed in athletic training with documentation, rehabilitation, and communication with staff and other healthcare professionals. Travel is based on sport but will be required if sport allows it.

FAQs
Do you provide housing? No. Ohio State University does not provide housing for the immersive students. We typically bring in multiple students and will help connect student groups to help with housing and any potential roommate situations
Are meals provided? This is dependent on the facility. There will be opportunities to purchase either meal plans or individual meal based on the facility that your rotation falls in. All meals outside of the facility will be the responsibility of the student
Do I need to provide my own transportation to and from my clinical rotation? If so, does it require a parking pass? Yes, you will need to provide your own transportation to and from the clinical site. There are parking passes available to purchase, and the costs will be prorated for the amount of time that you are on campus.
Is there a dress code? Can I wear my own clinical clothes? Dress code is professional clinical attire as dictated by the supervisor of your facility. There will be Ohio State branded clothing provided to you through the athletic training department upon your arrival. Everything else should be approved by your preceptor to wear during your clinical hours.
Do I get paid for this in any way? This is an unpaid experience.
