The Buckeye Basketball Experience Camp is conducted to give campers an inside view into the Men’s Basketball program while coaches provide individual and team-oriented instruction. Campers will participate in stations, drills, gameplay, and competitions to assist in the development of basic skills to become better basketball players. Campers will get to play and train on the Schottenstein Center floor and other practice facilities used by the Ohio State Basketball teams. Registration is open to boys entering grades 4-9 in Fall 2025; Campers will be grouped based on age and ability.

The structure and programming of this camp focuses on providing fun Ohio State basketball experiences, training fundamental skills, and team-based competitions. This camp may not be best suited for those looking for a highly intensive training program.
You will register for the grade the camper will be entering in the fall of 2025.

Camp will begin at 9:00AM and end at 3:30PM.
On the first day of camp, June 23, check-in will take place beginning at 8:15AM
The fee for the Buckeye Basketball Experience Camp is $385 and is open to any boys entering grades 4-9 in the fall of 2025. There are a maximum number of campers permitted in the camp per grade level, so register early! You will register for the grade you will be entering in the fall of 2025. Full payment is required at the time of online registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. Registration includes a 50% discount for Ohio State athletic department staff and a $50 discount for any Ohio State Employee. (Campers will register in full online now, discounts will be applied after the camp date. Please bring employee ID to check-in.)
Campers should arrive ready to play: basketball shoes, shorts, T-shirt, etc. Water will be provided throughout camp, so campers should not bring their own water bottles. Ohio State will not be responsible for any additional items which campers bring to campus. Campers are strongly encouraged NOT to bring their own basketballs.
Lunch will be provided each day. The Buckeye Basketball Experience Camp is a day camp only and no overnight accommodations will be provided. Campers are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed.
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.

Confirmation Email
A refund less a $50 administration fee will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administration fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee the number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and received by phone or email. All refund request’s supporting documentation must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. This form is found on the homepage all the way at the bottom in red letters “Request a Refund”. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
Family and friends are invited to the closing award ceremony at the end of camp on Thursday, June 26th. Camp will be headquartered at the Jerome Schottenstein Center located at 555 Borror Drive.
