PAUL KEELS will begin his 28th year as "Voice of the Buckeyes”. Paul’s extensive play by play background has included stints with the Cincinnati Reds, Cincinnati Bengals, the University of Cincinnati, the Detroit Pistons and national games for Westwood One and ESPN Radio. In addition to play by play, Keels moderates the weekly Ryan Day Show and is a part of our Buckeye Roundtable Show. Paul has been named Ohio Sportscaster of the Year 6 times was inducted into the Ohio Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2007.
JIM LACHEY returns for his 29th season as color analyst. Lachey was an All American and All Big Ten offensive lineman for Ohio State who led the Buckeyes to the conference championship and the Rose Bowl in his senior season. A first round draft choice in 1985, Jim played 11 seasons in the NFL and was an All-Pro a record 9 times during his 11 year career. One of “the hogs”, Jim helped the Washington Redskins win the 1993 Super Bowl. Lachey also co-hosts the weekly Ryan Day Show and is a part of our Buckeye Roundtable Show.
SKIP MOSIC begins his 41st season covering Buckeye football on the Ohio State Sports Network. The long time WBNS host will again serve as pregame & halftime host, provide scoreboard updates throughout the game broadcasts and hosts the weekly Buckeye Roundtable Show. Mosic is also the host of ONN Radio’s nationally award winning Tonight in High School Football and Learfield's Ohio College Football Today each fall.
CAITY MATTER-HENNIGER returns as a women’s basketball game analyst. Caity was a 2nd team All-Big Ten player for the Buckeyes in 2003, 2004 and 2005 and still holds the school record for 3 point field goals in a season with 106. Caity was inducted into the Ohio basketball Hall of Fame in 2020 and is currently CSO of Rogue Fitness.
NEIL SIKA returns as the play by play voice of Ohio State Hockey. Sika called Big Ten hockey for several seasons on BTN. The Ohio State graduate was also the long time radio and television voice of the Columbus Crew MLS team.
JOHN MOWAT is in his 23rd full season as the analyst for Ohio State men’s hockey games on the radio, with his first game the CCHA tournament semifinal game vs. Michigan March 20, 1998. A native of Brantford, Ontario, he was a three-year letterwinner for the Buckeyes (1983-85). Mowat coached the Upper Arlington High School team from 1987-94 and spent six years coaching in the Columbus Chill Youth Hockey Association.
BOB SPEARS is the analyst for Ohio State baseball games. He has been describing the action for 24 years on both the Ohio State Sports Network and also some television networks. Spears was a team captain and a four-year Buckeye baseball letterman between 1993-96, and he played on some of the great Ohio State teams, including three Big Ten Conference championship teams, two Big Ten tournament championship teams and three NCAA tournament squads. The team leader in wins in 1996 and earned run average in 1995, Spears and his wife, Sarah, have a daughter, Sydney, and a son, Brady. Spears is co-owner of the Jerry Spears Funeral Home.
KRISTIN WATT has been an analyst for Ohio State women’s basketball since 1987. Watt played in 78 games for the Buckeyes from 1981-85 and helped lead the Buckeyes to three Big Ten championships and the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance. Watt began calling games while attending law school and is now the leader of the environmental law group at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. Watt currently serves as chair of the Ohio State University Alumni Association.
RON STOKES returns for his 29th season as color commentator for the Ohio State basketball broadcasts and co-hosts the weekly Jake Diebler Show. Ron is a former Buckeye captain and lives in Columbus with his family. Ron is president of Three Leaf Productions in Columbus.
TYLER DANBURGbegins his first year on The Ohio State Sports Network but not his first covering Ohio State athletics having previously broadcasted 17 different Buckeye sports on B1G+ and Scarlet and Gray Sports Radio. The Cleveland native comes to us from the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers. Tyler will serve as sideline and post-game locker room reporter for Ohio State football and as the primary play-by-play voice of Ohio State women’s basketball and baseball.
