Women's Volleyball Elite Camp
JULY 8 – 10, 2019
Grades 7 – 12 & 2019 High School Graduates
An all-skills camp with a focus on training to help you improve each volleyball skill as well as position-speci?c training. While training we will work on communication, responding to errors and team dynamics. This camp will include lots of competitive games and tournament play to help you grow your game while creating new relationships and friendships with players from all over the country! We will provide rides to and from the airport for athletes ?ying into Columbus for the camp. We can also provide prorated pricing per session for athletes leaving camp early or joining late.
TENTATIVE SCHEDULE:
2:30pm – 4:00pm | Check-in on July 8th @ Covelli Center
3:00 pm | Check-out on July 10th @ Covelli Center
ENROLLMENT
The fee for the Elite Camp is $470 for overnight campers and $400 for day campers. The Elite Camp is open to any and all girls entering grades 7-12 in fall of 2019 and 2019 high school graduates. Full payment is required at the time of online registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes. com/camps. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations. If registering by mail, please make your check payable to The Ohio State University. Any non-scholastic group of 5 or more that wishes to pay with one check for the entire group must do so ahead of time via mail. Any non-scholastic organization with a group of 5 or more registering the day of the camp must pay with credit card, cash, or money order. No exceptions will be made.
Employee Discount: Children of Ohio State University employees are eligible to receive a 20% discounted employee. Proof of employment (i.e., copy of employee or BuckID) and payment must be submitted with the registration.
Sibling Discount: Siblings of an already enrolled camper will be eligible to receive a 20% discounted sibling rate.
DISCOUNTS
Discounts are not available through online registration. Discounts cannot be combine. Please make your check payable to The Ohio State University. Pro-rated rates of $75 per volleyball session are available. There are 2 sessions of volleyball on July 8th, 3 sessions on July 9th, and 2 sessions on July 10th. Mileage Discount: Campers who reside 350+ miles from The Ohio State University’s campus are eligible to receive a 50% discounted rate.
REQUIRED FORMS FOR PARTICIPATION
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Upon receipt of mail-in registrations, we will email a link to complete these forms online. Athletes will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
CONFIRMATION
Upon processing of each registration, a con?rmation notice will be sent by email. A packet of “Important Information for Registered Campers” (including the Parent Consent & Waiver Form and Concussion Information Form) will be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. This packet will not be separately mailed to campers.
Please check your email regularly, as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.
REFUNDS
A refund less a $50 administrative fee (overnight campers) or $25 administrative fee (day campers) will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp. The administrative fee and the 3% online processing fee are not refundable for ANY reason.
Because we have to guarantee our number of campers in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of each session will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injury, illness, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
A camp fee may not be transferred to any other Ohio State sports camp. A camp fee may not be transferred to any other camper. All cancellation notices must be received by the deadline above and submitted by mail, email, or fax – no phone calls or voicemails. All supporting documentation required for a refund to be approved and processed must be submitted within 10 days after the conclusion of the camp session. Refund requests must be submitted on the Refund Request Form available at OhioStateBuckeyes. com/camps. Campers who are injured while at camp but remain at camp will not be eligible for any refund.
TRANSPORTATION
Port Columbus International Airport is only 15 minutes from The Ohio State University. The Ohio State Women’s Volleyball Elite Camp will provide a FREE shuttle service to and from the airport for requests received in writing no later than 1 week prior to the start of camp. Written requests must be submitted to Caitlin Insana at insana.6@osu.edu.
