The Buckeye Basketball Team Camp is open to Scholastic & Non-Scholastic Varsity level teams (Grades 9-12 in Fall 2026). Teams will play in a shootout format, including a minimum of three games on Thursday and three games on Friday. Teams may attend both days or elect to attend on either Thursday or Friday. Games will take place on the Schottenstein Center floor and other practice facilities used by the Ohio State Athletics. There will be a two-man officiating crew on all games and an official scorer and game timer will be provided. There will be an educational skill development workout with our coaching staff and players at 10:00am on Thursday and 9:00am on Friday morning.

Once you’ve paid for your team online, each camp participate will need these three completed forms prior to competing, Registration Form, Medical Waiver and Concussion Waiver. These forms can be found below under 2026 Team Camp Individual Registration Form and you can mail in forms or bring to camp check-in. For any schools that need to register by PO or check please fill out the 2026 Team Camp Coaches Registration Form below and mail to our office along with the check. Thursday: First game times will tip 11:00AM and the last game slot will begin at approximately 7pm
Friday: First game times will tip 10:00AM and the last game slot will begin at approximately 6pm
Teams are required to check-in at least 1-hour prior to their scheduled game time on their first day of camp.
A tentative game schedule for Thursday’s games will be emailed to all participating coaches by Tuesday (June 2) at 11:59pm.

The registration fee is $600 for both days or $300 for a single day for a team and one head coach. Registration for this camp is open to any scholastic or non-scholastic high school age varsity level teams. Teams must consist of a minimum of eight players and maximum of 12. Players must be in grades 9-12 (as of Fall 2026). Full payment is due at the time of registration and registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Each head coach receives an Ohio State Basketball polo shirt, and all players receive an Ohio State Basketball T-Shirt. Additional assistant coaches are welcome to attend with their team. There is an optional fee of $30 to purchase a polo shirt for each assistant coach.

All teams are required to provide basketballs (labeled with the team’s name) for practice and warm-up drills prior to games. Teams should bring dark and light jerseys, preferably reversible.
No meals will be provided. Teams/Campers are responsible for providing their own overnight accommodations if needed.
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all players. Coaches will register their team online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps. Our staff will then email you medical waivers to complete for each camper. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms. Please bring completed forms to check-in.
Once your registration is approved, you will be emailed with a confirmation of payment notice. One week prior to camp, you will also be sent an email with important camp details. This information will also be posted online at OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. Please check your email regularly as this is our primary method of communication with campers and their parents.
A full refund will be issued for any cancellation received by at least 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.
Because we must guarantee our number of teams in order to prepare for camp, any cancellation received less than 2 weeks prior to the start of camp will not be eligible for any refund except in the case of injuries, illnesses, or mandatory school event, in which case supporting documentation from a doctor or school is required.
