%^$COLUMBUS, Ohio-Basketball forwards Jim Jackson, who led the Buckeyes to two straight Big Ten titles in 1991 and 1992, and Tracey Hall Yarbrough, two-time Big Ten Player of the Year (1986, 1987), top the 18-member Class of 1998 selected for induction into The Ohio State University Sports Hall of Fame.%^$

%^$Others to be enshrined include: volleyball player Karen Alsbrook-Smith (1976-79), swimmer, coach and administrator Bob Bartels (1949-89), wrestler George Bollas (1945-46), synchronized swimmer Tara Cameron Opp (1979-82), football player and coach Gene Fekete (1942), football players Tim Fox (1972-75) and Dr. John Frank (1980-83), diver Fletcher Gilders (1954-56), swimming standout Susan Gottlieb (1988-91), football standout Cornelius Greene (1972-75), team physician Dr. Robert Murphy (1952-93), wrestler Dave Reinbolt (1965-67), fencer Coreen Richter Sheardown (1981-84), gymnast Tracey Rinker Sumpter (1981-84), and track athlete John Schmidt (1942-45). In addition to these inductees, Marv Homan is being presented with the Loyalty Award for his long and distinguished career at Ohio State.%^$

%^$Both induction ceremonies will be held on Friday, September 18. The men will be honored at the Fawcett Center at 6:30 p.m. and the women at the Ramada University Hotel & Conference Center, beginning at 7:00. Both classes will be recognized the following day during halftime of the Ohio State-Missouri game.%^$
