COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team has set its 2023 season, head coach Meredith Paulicivic announced Thursday. The 2023 campaign marks the 53rd season of Ohio State women’s gymnastics and the fourth season in the state-of-the-art Covelli Center.
Ohio State starts the year hosting a non-conference quad meet which will bring Kentucky, Arizona and Greenville to Covelli on Jan. 8. The Buckeyes meet Georgia the following week in Athens, Ga. for another out-of-conference matchup.
The Big Ten Conference schedule begins Jan. 22 when the Buckeyes host Iowa. Ohio State also hosts Maryland on Feb. 5.
The Buckeyes’ conference road schedule includes trips to Michigan (Jan. 28), Illinois (Feb. 13), Penn State (Feb. 19) and the conference’s Big Five meet (Feb. 25).
Ohio State finishes the regular season with three non-conference meets. The final weekend of home competition for the Buckeyes starts March 3 with a dual against Brigham Young. The team will compete against Illinois and Kent State to close out the home slate annual All-Ohio meet on March 5. The team wraps up the regular season at California on March 10.
The 2022 Big Ten Championships will be held March 18 with Iowa serving as host this season. NCAA regionals are set to begin April 2 with nationals held from April 14-16.
