COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 4/6 Ohio State women’s basketball team (5-0) hosts North Alabama (3-2) on Sunday afternoon for girl dad day. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET in a game broadcast on B1G+.

  • Ohio State moved up to No. 4 in Monday’s AP poll and No. 6 in Tuesday’s coaches’ poll.
  • 4/6 Ohio State hosts North Alabama on Sunday for girl dad day.
  • The Buckeyes are coming off a 105-53 win against Wright State on Wednesday in which Ohio State had a season-high 26 assists and a season-low six turnovers.
  • OSU’s 19 steals against the Raiders gave the Buckeyes 10+ in five-consecutive games for the first time since December 2009.
  • Ohio State had six double-figure scorers, including all five starters and Hevynne Bristow, who put up a career-high 11 points.
  • North Alabama comes to Columbus with a 3-2 record.
  • The Lions opened the season with a 78-68 win against Christian Brothers. UNA’s other wins include a 104-56 decision against La Verne and a 66-48 win against Alabama A&M.
  • North Alabama’s losses both came on the road – first to Mississippi State (77-40) and then to Southern Mississippi (72-67).
  • UNA has three players averaging double figures, led by Jade Moore with 12.8 ppg, as the team averages 71 ppg. Skyler Gill is second among scorers with 12.4 ppg and also leads the Lions with 8.6 rpg.
  • This is the first-ever meeting between Ohio State and North Alabama.
