COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 22/19 Ohio State women’s basketball team (15-3, 7-2 Big Ten) hosts No. 7/7 Michigan (17-2, 8-1 Big Ten) on Thursday evening at Value City Arena in the Schottenstein Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast live on BTN (TV login required) and AM 1460.

Fans can purchase single-game tickets for the 2021-22 season in Value City Arena in the Schottenstein Center. All group tickets must be bought in advance by calling 1-800-GO-BUCKS and then selecting option two.   • Ohio State earned its way back into the top-25 of the AP Poll released on Monday (ranked 22nd) and is ranked 19th in the USA Today/WBCA Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
  • The Buckeyes are coming off their sixth-straight win on Sunday, an 80-71 victory at Rutgers, improving to 7-2 in conference play.
  • Ohio State captured its sixth-straight victory on Sunday in an 80-71 decision at Rutgers. Jacy Sheldon led the OSU offense with 32 points, including four triples, while Taylor Mikesell (21 points) and Rikki Harris (10) each made three triples.
  • The Buckeyes won the first three quarters despite surrendering the first points of those quarters to the Scarlet Knights. Ohio State knocked down 11 three-pointers and scored 31 points off Rutgers’ 19 turnovers.
  • Michigan enters the game with a 17-2 overall record and an 8-1 record against Big Ten opponents after a 79-66 victory against Purdue on Monday evening in Ann Arbor. The Wolverines’ lone conference loss was at Nebraska by a 79-58 margin on Jan. 4.
  • Naz Hillmon leads the Wolverines with 20.2 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game. Joining Hillmon in averaging double figures are Leigha Brown (15.0 ppg) and Emily Kiser (10.3 ppg).
  • Ohio State leads 57-15 in the all-time series against Michigan and has the 30-5 advantage when playing the Wolverines in Columbus.
  • The Buckeyes traveled to then No. 9/7 Michigan on New Year’s Eve, but fell to UM by a 90-71 margin.

HOME GAME REMINDERS

Concessions: Beginning immediately (1/4/2021), concessions will be closed at all university-related athletic events at Ohio State. Fans will not be permitted to bring food/beverage into athletic facilities. As always, exceptions will be made for those with medical needs for single-serving items. For those needing water during the event, courtesy cups will be available at guest services locations – you will be able to fill them at water refill stations on the concourse. Bottled water will be sold from a grab-n-go location on each level of the arena (sections 131 and 231). Water may only be consumed on the concourse – no water will be permitted down into the seating areas. As always, exceptions will be made at the gates for those with medical needs for single-serving items.

Mask Wearing: The university and City of Columbus policies require wearing of masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status, for all faculty, staff and invitees. Masks are required to be worn at all times – guests will not be permitted to enter the facility without wearing a mask and must remain masked while inside at all times.
