COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State meets a familiar foe on Friday when it returns to action following a bye week. The fourth-ranked Buckeyes tangle with second-ranked Minnesota in a weekend series at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. Ohio State and Minnesota will be meeting for the fifth and sixth times this season.

Briefly on the Buckeyes
- Ohio State is 9-5-0 this season with a national ranking of No. 4 in this week’s USCHO and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls.
- Jenna Buglioni, Tatum Skaggs and Jennifer Gardiner form the trio that currently leads the Buckeyes in scoring with 11 points.
- Buglioni has a team-high seven goals to go along with four assists while Skaggs has six goals and five assists. Gardiner has scored five goals and assisted on six others.
- Senior Liz Schepers (4-6-10) and Emma Maltais (2-8-10) give the Buckeyes five players who have double figure points through 14 games.
- A total of 17 players have scored a point this year while 13 have scored goals.
- Junior Andrea Braendli has started 12 of Ohio State’s 14 games. She has a 1.98 goals-against average, .921 save percentage and 268 total stops.

The Series
- Ohio State and Minnesota have split their previous four games this season. The Gophers won 4-0 on Nov. 21 and 7-4 on Jan. 29 while Ohio State picked up wins by the score of 2-1 and 3-1 on Nov. 22 and Jan. 30, respectively.
- Since the start of the 2017-18 season, the Buckeyes have won nine of 18 games against the Gophers with a 9-8-1 edge in the series.
