COLUMBUS, Ohio – After three weeks on the road, the No. 16 Ohio State women’s gymnastics team returns to Columbus to host No. 10 Michigan State on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. in the Covelli Center.
Saturday is also the team’s Military Appreciation Meet. The team will be collecting donations for the United Service Organization’s Bundles of Love initiative supporting new military parents. Accepted donation items include blankets, pacifiers, clothes, toys, books, bottles, shampoo and body wash, baby carriers, ointment, wipes and socks. There will be a donation box at the entrance of the Covelli Center for those who wish to contribute.

Ohio State as of Late
- Ohio State reached its fourth-highest score in program history, and highest score in nearly 10 years, last weekend with a team score of 196.900 at the Big Five meet in Toledo. The Buckeyes finished second overall at the meet.
- The Buckeyes started off their three-meet road stretch with a program record tying 49.325 on uneven bars at Nebraska. The score has been reached three times prior to this year, last during the 2018 season.
- Jojo Warga earned her first career individual title in her first collegiate beam routine last weekend. The sophomore scored a 9.925 to record the team’s highest score of the year on beam.
- Colby Miller ranks seventh in the Big Ten with a national qualifying score of 9.865 on uneven bars. Rated ninth with an NQS of 9.875 on beam is Stephanie Berger. Lexi Edwards ranks top 10 with an NQS of 9.875 on floor for 10th in the league.
- Raina Malas leads the Buckeyes on vault this season after hitting a career-high mark of 9.925 on the event at the Big Five meet.
- Alexis Hankins has tied her career best 9.925 on floor in two of the Buckeyes’ last three meets. She is tied with Jenna Hlavach and Edwards with the highest floor routine score of the season for Ohio State.
- The team ranks 13th (49.195) on floor and 15th (49.100) on uneven bars nationally.
Buckeyes vs. Michigan State
- Ohio State is 23-32-1 against Michigan State in the all-time series.
- The Buckeyes and Spartans met twice during the regular season last year and split the matchups. Ohio State took second in the tri meet against Michigan State and Nebraska in East Lansing, Mich. in 2021 but followed that up with a win in the tri meet against the Spartans and Illinois at Covelli the following week.
- Ohio State and Michigan State are tied for second in the conference with a record of 6-2 against Big Ten foes. The Spartans are 12-2 overall this year while the Buckeyes are 6-4.

Ohio State hosts the All-Ohio meet next week on Friday, March 4. The Buckeyes will welcome Bowling Green and Kent State for the meet starting at 7 p.m. at the Covelli Center.
