Dates Set for 2027 Big Ten Schedule

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State enters the 2027 Big Ten wrestling season facing one of the nation's toughest conference schedules, with the Buckeyes set to navigate a six-week league campaign featuring traditional powers, nationally-ranked opponents and several pivotal road duals. Conference competition for Ohio State runs from Jan. 10 through Feb. 12, 2027.

New season tickets for the 2026-27 season will go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m. ET here.

Single match and group tickets will go on sale later in October.

The Buckeyes' path through the conference will be highlighted by marquee duals against perennial national contenders Iowa and Penn State, along with key matchups against Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, Purdue, Indiana and Michigan State.

Ohio State opens the 2026-27 season at the Clarion Open Nov. 1. The home dual season opens against Columbia Nov. 15 at the Covelli Center.

Road duals against North Carolina State (Nov. 20) and Bellarmine (Nov. 22) follow before the 2026 National Duals Dec. 12-13 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The Buckeyes return several key pieces from 2025-26. Ohio State finished with an overall record of 18-1 a year ago with a 7-1 Big Ten record. The Buckeyes finished second at the Big Ten Conference championships and fifth at the NCAA tournament.

Back at 125-pounds is Nic Bouzakis with 2026 Big Ten Champion and national runner-up Ben Davino at 133. Brandon Cannon fills the 157 spot in the lineup while veterans Ethan Stiles (165), Dylan Fishback (184), Seth Shumate/Ryder Rogotzke (197) and Nick Feldman (HWT) all return.

The nonconference portion of the dual season concludes with home matches against Kent State (Dec. 18) and Clarion University (Jan. 3, 2027).
