Stan White
Football, 1969-71
Stan White Sr. was a standout for the Ohio State football team in the late 1960s and early 1970s and was also part of the baseball and men's basketball programs during his time in the Scarlet and Gray.
White played football for Ohio State under legendary head coach Woody Hayes and was a three-year letterwinner for the Buckeyes from 1969-71. He received All-Big Ten honors in 1971, finishing the season with 100 total tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, four pass breakups and a defensive touchdown. He also led the Buckeyes with 106 total tackles en route to winning the 1970 National Championship. When he finished his college career, he held the school records for both career tackles, tackles in a season and tackles in a game. He was selected by the Baltimore Colts in the 1972 NFL Draft and spent time with both the Colts (1972-79) and Detroit Lions (1980-82) and in the USFL. White went on to earn a law degree from the University of Baltimore and served as television analyst for the Baltimore Ravens.
