COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (5-3) closes out its non-conference schedule this weekend against Virginia (4-3).

Match Information
- The Buckeyes and Cavaliers will play two matches this weekend. The first match is on Friday, Sept. 18 at 6 p.m. and the second match is on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 2 p.m.

- The Buckeyes went 3-0 at the Sports Imports Classic in the Covelli Center last weekend.
- Ohio State opened the weekend with a 3-2 (20-25, 23-25, 25-23, 25-24, 15-12) victory over Winthrop on Friday night.
- Hannah Jones and Kalli Jioshvili-Ravva led the Buckeyes in kills with 16 each. Emily Avshalomov recorded a then-career-high 22 digs and Alia Schoonover led the Buckeyes in total blocks with a career-high seven.
- On Saturday, the Buckeyes defeated Southern Indiana, 3-1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-18, 25-20).
- Jones had 15 kills in the match to surpass 800 career kills. Na'vea Gauthier led Ohio State with a career-high 16 kills. Bailey Nakanelua recorded her first career double-double with 46 assists and 12 digs.
- The Buckeyes closed out the weekend with a 3-2 (23-25, 25-18, 21-25, 25-21, 15-10) win over Youngstown State.
- Naomy Govou led the Buckeyes with 20 kills to tie her career-high. Schoonover had a double-double with a career-high 15 kills and 11 digs. Avshalamov notched a career-high 27 digs and Nakanelua had another double-double with 10 digs and a career-high 61 assists.

- Jones leads the Buckeyes with 109 total kills and averages a team-best 3.21 kills per set. She also leads the team in points with 128. She is second in blocks with 24 total.
- Jioshvili-Ravva has added 95 kills for the Buckeyes and averages 3.12 kills per set. Both marks are good for second-best on the team.
- Mia Tuman leads Ohio State in assists with 217, which is an average of 9.43 assists per set.
- Schoonover has a team-best 15 aces and 29 total blocks.
- Avshalomov leads the Buckeyes in digs with 138, which is 4.06 digs per set.
