Four Buckeyes Named ITA All-Americans

Junior Aidan Kim earns recognition in both singles, doubles
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced its list of 2025-26 All-Americans Tuesday in both singles and doubles. Four Buckeyes earned recognition.
Junior Aidan Kim was named an All-American in both singles and doubles. In singles, Kim finished with a No. 14 national ranking with an overall record of 17-12. Pairing with junior Bryce Nakashima, the duo finished the year with a 28-7 overall record and a national ranking of No. 43.
The pair earned All-America status in doubles with a quarterfinal appearance in the 2025 NCAA Doubles Championships last fall.
Kim is now a two-time All-American in singles (2025 and 2026).
Redshirt sophomore Brandon Carpico and sophomore Nikita Filin (37-6) completed the year ranked No. 6 nationally as a doubles combo and a finals appearance in the 2025 NCAA Doubles Championships. Both accomplishments secured All-America status for the 2025-26 season.
Ty Tucker, head coach of the Buckeyes, has produced 67 All-Americans during his tenor in Columbus.
Ohio State finished ranked No. 5 as a team following a 32-5 season with a 12-1 record in the Big Ten regular season. The Buckeyes won their 20th-consecutive Big Ten title before advancing to the 2026 NCAA Tournament Quarterfinals in Athens, Georgia.
