COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler welcomes transfer Andrija Jelavic to the program for the 2026-27 season. He will come to Columbus currently with two years of collegiate eligibility remaining.
"I'm excited to add to Andrija to our program,” Diebler said. “His size and skillset will provide us great versatility in the front court. He's an experienced player that is continuing to grow and I can't wait to see him in the Scarlet and Gray."
The Zagreb, Croatia native played last season at Kentucky, where he appeared in 32 games, including starting the final 20 games for the Wildcats. He averaged 5.5 points and 4.0 rebounds. The 6-11 forward will join a frontcourt that includes redshirt-senior Josh Ojianwuna and junior Ivan Njegovan.
Jelavic earned his high school diploma from Prirodoslovna škola Vladimira Preloga and played for Mega Superbet in the Adriatic League. He averaged 11.0 points and 7.4 rebounds while at Mega Superbet, and he also played for Croatia in the Euro Championships.
