High-Energy Saturday Awaits Fans at Ohio State Spring Game, Presented by Union Home Mortgage

COLUMBUS, OHIO -- Ohio State's 2026 Spring Game, presented by Union Home Mortgage, will give fans their first full look at the 2026 team on Saturday at noon in Ohio Stadium. Saturday's contest will be an offense-defense scrimmage, with Team Scarlet on offense and on the home sideline, while Team Gray will line up on defense and use the visitor sideline.

Tickets are available for as low as $13 and for an additional $1, fans can enter to win one of 250 exclusive items. Ten of those items are among the "grand prizes", which include some pieces that are sure to carry extra significance to any Ohio State fan. Winners of the grand prizes will be announced at the Spring Game and brought down to the field to receive their item from the student-athlete that signed it. Gameday Timeline

Ohio Stadium gates open to the public at 10:30 a.m.

Buckeye Walk will begin promptly at 10:50 a.m.

Kickoff is set for noon.

Broadcast Information

The game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network, with Jack Kizer handling play-by-play, Tyvis Powell serving as analyst and Michele Steele reporting from the sideline.

The Ohio State Sports Radio Network will also carry the game, with Paul Keels and Jim Lachey on the call.

Victory Bell Ringer

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats before kickoff to watch Jaxon Smith-Njigba ring the Victory Bell. A 2022 Rose Bowl Offensive MVP, 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year and Super Bowl LX champion with the Seattle Seahawks, Smith-Njigba returns to help kick off the game.

Game Format

Offensively, Scarlet will score in traditional fashion with touchdowns, extra points and field goals.

Defensively, Gray can score on a touchdown, takeaway, three-and-out, sack or forced punt.

The spring game will feature four quarters of varying length: 15 minutes in the first quarter, 12 minutes in the second, a 12-minute halftime, 12 minutes in the third quarter with the clock on Coach Day, and 10 minutes in the fourth quarter with the clock running and stopping at Coach Day's discretion.
