
Buckeyes Take On NCAA Championships This Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 11 Ohio State women's swimming and diving team competes at the NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Ga., Wednesday, March 18-Saturday, March 21.
Finals will begin at 6 p.m. each day, with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday-Saturday. All sessions will be streamed on ESPN+.

Buckeye Meet Notes
- The Buckeyes placed third at the Big Ten Championships. It is the ninth season in a row Ohio State finished in the top three at the conference championships. Ohio State totaled 1,066 points and won 10 medals over the four-day competition. Winning silver medals were Maria Ramos (100 breast), Lena Hentschel (one-meter dive), Sienna Angove (500 free), Mila Nikanorov (1650 free) and Rachel Bockrath (100 free). Earning bronze medals were Bockrath (200 free), Emma Finlin (1650 free), the 200 medley relay (Delia Lloyd, Ramos, Carrie Furbee, Bockrath), the 800 free relay (Erin Little, Angove, Bockrath, Nikanorov) and the 400 free relay (Bockrath, Angove, Little and KK LeBlanc).
- At last year's NCAA Championships, the Buckeyes finished 14th. It was the fifth consecutive season that Ohio State placed in the top 15. Nine Buckeyes earned All-American honors, with six earning All-American honors in more than one event.
- Nikanorov earned First Team All-American honors in both the 500 free and the 1650 free in 2025.
