Coleman Named B1G Co-Specialist of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's gymnastics sophomore JJ Coleman is the Big Ten Co-Specialist of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Coleman became the first Buckeye gymnast since 2003 to record a perfect 10.0, hitting the score on floor in the final routine of Ohio State's home finale Sunday at the Covelli Center. She is just the fourth gymnast to record a 10.0 on floor this season and becomes the second Ohio State gymnast to record the score in program history. The Albuquerque, N.M. native had a score of at lead 9.900 in all but one meet entering Sunday.
Coleman finished the meet with individual event titles on floor and uneven bars. Her 9.900 on bars is a career high. She also led the team on vault with a score of 9.875 for third overall.
The Buckeyes close the regular season with a quad meet at Arizona Friday, March 13. Ohio State will compete against the Wildcats, Texas Woman's University and Southeast Missouri State at the McKale Center in Tucson, Ariz. at 9 p.m.
