Michigan will host the semifinals and finals in 2027 in addition to the opening rounds of play, while Ohio State will host the semifinals and finals in 2028 in addition to the opening rounds of play. Host schools are automatically in the 16-team tournament field.
"Hosting the ITA National Indoors is an incredible honor for Ohio State tennis and our entire community," Melissa Schaub, Ohio State head coach, said. "For our student-athletes, it's an opportunity to compete on our home courts against top competition, and for our fans and community, it's a chance to showcase the passion, pride and tradition that define Buckeye tennis. This also represents the very best in collegiate tennis and we are grateful for the support that makes this possible. We are looking forward to the energy and excitement this championship will bring to Columbus."
Ohio State has made 10 appearances at National Indoors, including in seven of the last eight years. Last week, the Buckeyes made the program's first appearance in the final, downing Duke, North Carolina and Texas A&M before falling to Georgia in the championship match, 4-3.Â
