
Buckeyes Win Bronze in Both Relays on Night One of B1G Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 11 Ohio State women's swimming and diving team won bronze in both relays on the first night of the Big Ten Championships on Wednesday.
The Big Ten Championships opened with the 200 medley relay, and the Buckeyes claimed their first medal. The 200 medley relay team of Delia Lloyd, Maria Ramos, Carrie Furbee and Rachel Bockrath won bronze, turning in an automatic NCAA qualifying time of 1:35.17.
Night one closed with the 800 free relay and Ohio State claimed its second medal. The relay team of Erin Little, Sienna Angove, Bockrath and Mila Nikanorov finished in 6:54.93 to win the bronze medal. The time is an automatic NCAA qualifying time.
The Buckeyes sit in second place after the first day of competition with 108 points, just 20 points behind first-place Michigan.
The Big Ten Championships continue Feb. 19-21. Prelims begin at 11 a.m. ET and finals begin at 6:30 p.m. ET each day. All sessions can be streamed live on B1G+.
